Lost Earring Shrine II
Part of a series that celebrates lost earrings and the ones they left behind. Whether dragged from the back of a dresser drawer or rescued from the back of a jewelry c ase, these "singlets" carry with them memories of people, places, and events...and a hope that maybe, someday, they'll be reunited with their mates.
Materials: Commercial cotton fabric; polyester batting; cotton and polyester thread; ultrasuede; enameled metal earring
Techniques: Fused appliqué; machine pieced and quilted; hand application of embellishment.
