This tribute to southern "Mom and Pop" dining operations celebrates some of old Charlotte's food landmarks. The South 21 Drive-In (popular with couples), Bar-B-Q King, and Price's Chicken Coop don't represent "new Southern cuisine," but they are a well-loved part of the city's culinary history.
Materials: commercial cotton fabrics, cotton batting, cotton and polyester thread
Techniques: Images printed on fabric, machine pieced and quilted.
