Artist and Rabbi Me'irah Iliinsky created the design featured here. The title is a translation of the Hebrew in the quilt. It's a reminder of the importance of Torah study. The pomegranate seeds symbolize the many nuggets of Torah wisdom. The piece was commissioned as a thank you gift for Rabbi Ilinsky by Congregation Huvurat Tikvah in Charlotte, NC. Members left personal messages on the back of the quilt.
Materials: commercial and hand-dyed cottons, polyester batting, cotton and polyester thread.
